Jill Boschulte lives in a small town in the Northeastern part of Ontario. She works on paper in a variety of mediums in an expressive, dynamic style. Her images are derived from observations and interpretations of weather phenomena, changing seasons and unique land forms. Words and phrases are occasionally incorporated, acting as warnings and double meanings. Jill reflects on process and outcome; considers what might happen, puzzles over what did happen, and then grounds her ideas in the familiar landscape.
